K-pop girl group Lovelyz member Lee Mi-joo, better known as Mijoo, has apologised for asking intrusive questions about a college student’s sex life during her YouTube show.
In a statement released on the group’s social media, Mijoo apologised “for making the fans uncomfortable with such unthoughtful comments”.
In the June 26 episode of her YouTube reality show Mijoo Pickchu, she was interviewing a male student on the street when she made comments such as, “How far did you go with your girlfriend?” and “You’ve gone all the way, I’m sure”.

After the man said “we’ve only kissed”, she laughed and responded “Are you even a man?” – with the caption saying, “Why are you looking down there Mijoo?”
The clip resurfaced this week and drew harsh criticism, with some people demanding that Mijoo apologise for her “sexual harassment”.

“Why in the world would she ask about the couple’s sex life? I would be p***** if I were the girlfriend,” one netizen posted.
Another user wrote: “She always seems to take things too far, and she finally crossed the line.”
The show’s production team also issued a statement on its YouTube account, saying the staff and Mijoo had personally apologised to the man. The video has been deleted.

Mijoo debuted as a member of the eight-member group in 2014. She has also been starring in various reality shows, including Crafts Man and The Sixth Sense.
